Greetings Respected Soldier, Valued Friend and Honored Patriot!

We are very happy to announce this year's 25th Infantry Division Survivors' Reunion - the annual gathering of the 25th Infantry Division Association's South Atlantic States Chapter. Hope you can join us! All 25th Division vets, their families and friends are welcome!!!

We are very excited about our Friday trip - a tour of the new Army Museum (if it's open in time) or the Marine Museum in Quantico followed by lunch! Hope you can join us!

If you are reading this reunion notice and are a 25th Division veteran, it means you are alive and you are a survivor! Whether you were a member of the 25th Division when it was formed in 1941 or part of the attack force in August 1945 poised to invade Japan, or if you served honorably in the Korean War, or in Vietnam, Iraq or Afghanistan, or in peacetime, our country is in your debt! We like to show our appreciation to all of these Americans who have so courageously served their country and allowed us to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave!
We ask all those who plan to attend to reserve their hotel room and send in their attendance form as soon as possible. To help in our planning, PLEASE respond by March 1! MANY THANKS! Please note that all veterans returning their attendance forms by July 1 will receive a gift to be presented at our roll call on Thursday, August 13.

When: Wednesday, August 12 to Sunday, August 16, 2020

Where: Hilton Rockville
1750 Rockville Pike
Rockville, Maryland 20852
(301) 468-1100

Be sure to call (301) 468-1100 rather than their 800 number to get the special reunion rate.

Each year we depend heavily on proceeds derived from our Thursday night bingo, our two raffles (Wednesday night and Friday night), the mini-store sales and your generous donations to the Operation Fund to cover the total expenses of the reunion. Everyone who donates to our Operation Fund is listed on our 25th Division Donor Honor Roll, which is displayed at every reunion. Every donor’s name will appear, but not the amount of the donation. You may make your donation in the name of or in memory of a living or departed loved one or friend. Every dollar counts and enables us to keep these reunions going. Please indicate the amount of your Reunion Operation Fund contribution on your Attendance Form.

We ask everyone to bring 2 liters of soda for the Hospitality bar, plus a gift or gifts for our raffles. Snacks are also greatly appreciated. You may bring beer, wine and liquor for personal consumption or as a raffle gift .
Make your hotel reservation early! Call (301) 468-1100 Monday - Friday , 9 AM to 4 PM EDT. This number is a direct line to the hotel registration. Be sure you mention the 25th Infantry Division Survivors' Reunion to receive the reduced rate of $123 per night plus tax for a standard room with one king bed or two queen size beds or a handicap accessible room. Be sure to get a confirmation number.

If you intend to fly, the most direct route would be to choose Reagan International Airport. From the airport take the Metro (Yellow line and change to the Red Line at Gallery Place) to the Twinbrook Station. The hotel is directly across the street from the metro station. A small refrigerator is standard in all rooms and there are bellmen at the entrance to help with baggage. Wi-Fi is free and there is a fitness center and sauna as well as cable TV and laundry facilities.

If enough of our friends sign up to arrive on Wednesday, August 12, we will have an Early Bird Dinner, as we have had each year in the past.
If you know a buddy with whom you served, phone or write him, encourage him to come - and bring family and friends! Feel free to copy this form and send it to friends who might also be interested. Please help with heart and hand! Remember - this organization has always been a "family of friends" - all are welcome!

NOTE: Because the hotel requires that a minimum number of sleeping rooms be used by our group, we must have a deposit of $125 for each room reserved. This will be applied to your bill upon arrival but is non-refundable if we do not meet our minimum room usage.
Veterans, please note what Bob Muzzy, our Chapter Founder always said: "We’re here today and gone tomorrow - you never know when your name will be called. This event will not pass your way again in this lifetime and there are no guarantees that there will be reunions in the hereafter. So sign up!"
We promise you a great time! Help with heart and hand! We need you, so come enjoy the memories. Your cooperation will help assure that this reunion will be a big success. Hope to see you in August!
